Aquila classes are designed to meet various fitness levels.  If you have not exercised for while, be sure to attend a class appropriate for a beginner.  If you are unsure of any class descriptions or details, ask your instructor directly prior to attending a class.  Aquila recommends consulting with your physician before starting any exercise program after prolonged inactivity.

The following is a sample of our group fitness programs that can be offered at your facility.

Cardiovascular Conditioning

step
a low impact, high intensity workout using adjustable step platforms -- all levels

step and sculpt

a cardiovascular step aerobics class combined with body conditioning -- all levels

ultimate step

designed for advanced step participants, this class has challenging choreography and intensity -- advanced

step basics

for new participants; this is a simple to follow and less intense workout -- beginning

multi impact

a high energy class which combines high impact and low impact aerobics -- all levels

multi impact and sculpt

a high energy high low class that is followed with sculpting exercises

power aerobics

a high energy cardiovascular class combining challenging high impact moves -- intermediate to advanced

power low impact

a low impact workout with power moves -- intermediate to advanced

cardio pump

this workout is consisted of a mix of low impact, high intensity aerobics moves & full body toning exercises — intermediate to advanced

Abdominal & Core Conditioning

abs express
this class is a 15 minute workout for abdominal area; multiple exercises include the upper and lower region of abdominals, and obliques — all levels

ultimate abs

this class is a 30 minute workout for abdominal area; multiple exercises include the upper and lower region of abdominals, and obliques — intermediate to advanced

abdominal & core integration

this class is a 30 minute workout for abdominal & core (lower back) area; multiple exercises include the upper and lower region of abdominals, and obliques — all levels

resist-a-ball +

this class is a 30 minute workout for abdominal & core (lower back) using resist a ball, a great workout for conditioning and strength—all levels

Mind & Body Training

yoga
a mind and body workout to awaken energy within; great for meditating, flexibility, posture

pilates mat

a flexibility and training class based on Joseph Pilates work—all levels

tai-chi

a meditation training class following ancient Chinese practice of relaxation and visualization

qi-qong

a traditional Chinese meditation/energy/healing class using visualization and pressure points.

 

Strength
Conditioning

total body conditioning
creates the total body workout through combining a series of sculpting exercises -- all levels


ultimate body conditioning

an advanced class based on the latest research in strength training -- intermediate to advanced

cross conditioning

creates a total body workout by using plyometric moves, body conditioning exercises with sprints, relays and sports conditioning principles— all levels


interval training

combination of high-low aerobics, step and toning exercises in 3 minutes intervals -- all levels

advanced interva
l training
a training class designed with higher intensity for advanced participants -- intermediate to advanced

sports conditioning

interval training class which uses movements of sports conditioning (football, basketball, hockey, and similar) to create a total body workout—intermediate to advanced

Spinning®

spinning®
a fast paced 45 minute stationary cycling workout set to music -- intermediate to advanced

spinning® basics

an introductory, less intense class for cycling workout -- beginning

spinning® endurance

a fast paced 45 minute ride designed to create endurance -- intermediate to advanced

spinning® strength

a fast paced 45 minute ride designed to create strength -- intermediate to advanced

 

Martial
Arts*

*all aquila martial arts programs are non-contact training classes designed for all levels

karate

karate will teach you basic and intermediate skills in this ancient martial art technique; you will experience excellent strength training workout and gain necessary skills for self defense—all levels

kickboxing

combination of aerobics, boxing and lower body movement to create a total body workout—all levels

boxing

this class will introduce participants to the latest boxing training techniques, including training on heavy bags, speed drills, and jump ropes— all levels

ken-po

a martial art technique concentrating on self defense moves and strength training — all levels

tae-kwon do

a martial technique concentrating on self defense movement, strength and flexibility training — all levels

Specialty Classes

latin jam
a cardiovascular conditioning class with a fun latin-dance choreography — intermediate to advanced

urban funk
a high energy, high/low impact workout with a funky flare; If you are bored with traditional aerobics moves this is for you—intermediate to advanced

ballet
a traditional ballet workout to improve flexibility, posture and strength—all levels

ballroom dancing

learn social dance movements; waltz, tango and latin; marenge, salsa, rumba, swing —all levels
